zoned\ out

A way of floating out and not realizing passage of time or anything else around you. Can happen intentionally or unintentionally.

Unintentional: I don't know what happened after that. I just sorta zoned out.

Intentionally: I was really zonin' till my girlfriend came along and started yelling at me.
